Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 03 Nov, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.socialmasons.com, operated by Socialmasons (“we,” “us” or “our”).
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Website purpose
This website provides information about Socialmasons and our marketing services, including local SEO, social media management, reviews and reputation, website and conversion improvements, and AI search visibility.
Website descriptions explain our general offering. The specific scope of any paid engagement must be agreed separately in writing.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the website lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Submit false, misleading, unlawful or harmful information.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Attempt to access restricted systems or information without permission.
- Introduce malicious code or interfere with website security or operation.
- Use forms or contact details to send spam or abusive communications.
- Copy or exploit website materials in a way that infringes intellectual property rights.
We may take reasonable steps to address misuse, including restricting access where appropriate.
3. Enquiries and submissions
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for having authority to share it.
Submitting an enquiry, requesting a Growth Score or arranging a meeting does not create a paid service agreement or oblige either party to proceed.
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Free Growth Scores and assessments
Growth Scores, preliminary reviews and recommendations are based on the information available at the time and the scope of the assessment.
They are intended to identify potential opportunities. They are not exhaustive technical audits, legal advice or guarantees of future performance.
Third-party information may be incomplete or change after a review. You should consider recommendations in the context of your business before implementing them.
5. Paid services and separate agreements
Paid services are governed by an accepted written proposal, statement of work or service agreement.
That agreement should specify relevant details, including:
- Deliverables, exclusions and responsibilities.
- Fees, taxes and payment terms.
- Timelines, approvals and revision limits.
- Third-party software costs and advertising spend.
- Ownership, licensing and account access.
- Cancellation, termination and any applicable refund arrangements.
If these website terms conflict with an applicable signed or otherwise accepted service agreement, that agreement takes priority for the services concerned.
6. Results and third-party platforms
Marketing outcomes depend on factors such as competition, budget, customer demand, website condition, implementation and third-party platform decisions.
Unless expressly stated in an applicable written agreement, we do not guarantee specific search positions, AI citations, follower growth, review ratings, lead volumes, sales or revenue.
We do not control the policies, algorithms, availability or decisions of search engines, social networks, review platforms or other third-party providers.
7. Intellectual property
Website text, branding, designs, graphics and other materials are owned by Socialmasons or used under licence, unless otherwise identified.
You may view and download publicly available materials for their intended informational purpose. You may not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit them without permission, except where permitted by law or an applicable licence.
Ownership and permitted use of client deliverables are determined by the relevant service agreement.
8. Examples and testimonials
Illustrative examples, sample layouts and demonstrations explain possible approaches. They should not be interpreted as actual client engagements or achieved results unless expressly identified as such.
Any genuine results or testimonials relate to particular circumstances and do not guarantee that another business will achieve the same outcome.
9. External links
Links to third-party websites or tools are provided for convenience. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
10. Website information and availability
We take reasonable care in preparing website information, but it may contain errors, become outdated or require clarification.
We may update, suspend or discontinue website features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the website will always be free from technical errors.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Socialmasons will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this website.
Liability relating to paid services is addressed in the applicable service agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with an updated effective date. Changes apply prospectively to website use after publication.
Changes to an existing paid engagement remain subject to its service agreement.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply in your jurisdiction.
